Weston, MO Social Event

This was a fun day in Westin @ The St George Hotel with owner John Potty.

Wished more could have been there to take advantage of wine tasting and good food and being educated on the different wines.

Christmas Social Event

Our December Social started off with purchasing gifts for children through the Salvation Army Adopt a Family for Christmas program. Gifts were purchased for the children, gift certificates were purchased for the Christmas meal and checks were sent in by our out of state alumni. We adopted 7 families in our Northeast area and many of these were large families. I barely got all the bags in my car and truly felt like Santa’s helper as I delivered 7 huge bags to the Salvation Army collection center. It was a bitterly cold, windy day as we unloaded the bags and I was anxious to get back into the warmth of my car afterward. But nothing can compare with the warm feeling of the families that the NEHS Alumni Association had a part in making much brighter at this time of year. What a huge success it was and thanks to all of you for stepping up to the plate! You are The Best !!!

On Saturday, Dec 4^th,24 alumni met at McCoy’s restaurant in Westport for dinner, drinks and a lot of socializing before heading 3 blocks away to the Harris-Kearney House Museum tour.

Tour...
Several more alumni met up with us there for the tour. The house was filled to over flowing, as we enjoyed a private candlelight tour and a fascinating history lesson of the house by our tour guide dressed in period clothing.
